Registrations have officially opened for the Agra Taj Rally 2026, one of India’s most anticipated Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) motorsport events, scheduled to take place from 20 to 22 February 2026 in and around Agra. Sanctioned by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), the rally is expected to attract participants from across the country, bringing together cars and motorcycles for a precision-based motorsport experience set against the backdrop of Agra’s rich heritage.
Unlike high-speed racing formats, the Agra Taj Rally follows the internationally recognised TSD rally format, where participants are judged on accuracy, navigation, and time management rather than outright speed. Competitors must maintain prescribed average speeds and arrive at checkpoints at exact times, making the event accessible to first-time rallyists, men and women participants, and seasoned motorsport professionals alike, while maintaining high safety standards.
The three-day rally will cover approximately 340 kilometres, taking participants through a carefully curated route that blends urban heritage roads, countryside tracks, and open highways. Day one focuses on Agra city and its surrounding heritage zones, while day two explores the rural and rugged landscapes near the Chambal region. The final day features a longer endurance stretch along scenic highways, offering a mix of technical navigation and sustained driving challenges.
The Agra Taj Rally 2026 is open to cars and motorcycles, with multiple competition categories including Expert, Novice and Local Classes. Vehicles ranging from hatchbacks and sedans to SUVs, as well as motorcycles above 125cc, are eligible to participate. The novice category is specifically designed to welcome first-time participants, offering structured briefings and support to help new entrants experience competitive rallying safely.
As an FMSCI-sanctioned event, the rally follows strict safety and operational protocols. Certified marshals, medical teams, route documentation, GPS tracking, and pre-event technical scrutiny form part of the rally’s professional setup. These standards have helped the Agra Taj Rally earn recognition as one of North India’s most well-organised navigation rallies in previous editions.
The event has also received strong support from local tourism and motorsport stakeholders, positioning it as a unique platform where heritage tourism and motorsport intersect. Participants and visitors alike get the opportunity to experience Agra beyond its monuments, exploring lesser-known routes while being part of a growing motorsport community.
Registrations for the Agra Taj Rally 2026 are currently open, with limited slots available for both cars and bikes. Interested participants can register online through the official website www.mscagra.com, where they can select their category, complete the registration process, and receive further event details and briefing materials.
With its combination of professional motorsport standards, accessible competition format, and scenic routes, the Agra Taj Rally 2026 promises to be a standout event on India’s motorsport calendar. Participants are encouraged to register early, as entries will close once the maximum number of teams is reached.
